Makes 12 to 18 plain cake donuts
1 tablespoon Mighty Leaf Mandarin Rose petal loose leaf tea
1/4 cup boiling water
1/2 cup stemmed strawberries
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup confectioner’s sugar
Brew the tea and boiling water for 4 minutes. Strain the tea. Blend the tea with the strawberries until smooth. Pour the strawberry rose tea through a fine mesh strainer, which will yield about 1/3 cup smooth puree. Add the vanilla extract. Whisk the puree into the powdered sugar until combined. Dip each donut into the glaze. Place the donuts on a wire rack set over a sheet pan. Sprinkle rose petals on the donuts if using.
